I’ve been playing around with a new poem and trying this editing thing I’ve heard so much about when it comes to poetry. I usually write and post, never looking back to rework lines or improve my writing. New year, new process.
How do you work through your poetry? One and done or rework until perfect?

A poem that shares inner thoughts from a time when I was still in an abusive relationship. There much more to the equation when you are in it than “just leave”.
